TERMS & CONDITIONS
CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES:
An adult, 18 years or older, must be present during the installation/troubleshooting process. If an On-Site Computer Consulting technician arrives at the scheduled time and an adult is not present, or if the adult leaves prior to the service being completed, the technician will leave and the customer is responsible for ALL scheduled service charges. On-Site Computer Consulting is not responsible for any loss, alteration, or corruption of ANY software, files, or data. It is your responsibility to back up all software and data on your computer's hard drive(s) and/or any other storage devices before the technician arrives. Customer is responsible for the removal and disposal of any packing materials or trash. Technical services are non-refundable once the service process has begun. Customer is responsible for the migration of data between a new PC (Data transfers are available for an additional fee).
CHARGES AND PAYMENTS:
Payment is due upon receipt of your bill, and is past due fourteen (14) days after the date the bill was prepared. A late payment charge of 15% will be applied to the total unpaid balance on your account if full payment is not received. On-Site Computer Consulting may report and/or forward unpaid invoices to a credit reporting agency after a period of sixty (60) days from date the bill was prepared. Returned checks are subject to a $25 fee.
SERVICE LIMITATIONS:
On-Site Computer Consulting reserves the right to refrain from providing any or all services ordered and refund the customer's payment, wholly or in part, if minimum system requirements are not met or if technical conditions (such as wiring difficulties or physical barriers) or customer requirements are unusual, extensive, or beyond the scope of these terms and conditions, as reasonably determined by an On-Site Computer Consulting technician.
SERVICE WARRANTY:
On-Site Computer Consulting warranties its workmanship for a period of thirty (30) days from the service date. On-Site Computer Consulting is not responsible for issues due to setting changes, new software upgrades/installations, ISP connection issues, virus/spyware/malware issues or misuse. Any and all warranties associated with the removal of viruses/spyware/malware are valid if an On-Site Computer Consulting technician verifies proper protection against such threats.
ACCESS:
The On-Site Computer Consulting technician must have:
• Access to your residence or business and all items to be serviced.
• Your cooperation and consent to enter your residence/business.
• A safe working environment.
• Electrical power.
If any of these requirements are not met, all services will be denied and a $75 cancellation fee assessed.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY & RELEASE:
By signing the form on the opposite side of this page, you agree to release On-Site Computer Consulting from and against any loss, liability, or damage, including without limitation, any indirect or incidental damages, expense, costs, profits, lost savings or earnings that you, the customer, may suffer as an outcome of any services provided by On-Site Computer Consulting. This includes, but is not limited to: data loss or lack of function from a computer system or any associated peripherals.
